The 22-year-old's talent hasn't gone unnoticed by Serie A giants Inter and Juventus either. And here's a twist: Bundesliga club RB Leipzig is reportedly considering a bid of €25 million (£21.7m) plus add-ons.
Muharemović only joined Sassuolo from Juventus last summer, and the latter still holds a 50% stake in any future transfer fee.
The Jack Harrison Story
Former Leeds United owner Andrea Radrizzani revealed an intriguing tale. Newcastle was reportedly very close to signing Jack Harrison from Leeds back in 2022. Harrison impressed during Leeds' return to the top flight, but his form has dipped in recent years.
Leeds initially gave Harrison the green light to move to Leicester City, but then made a surprising U-turn and offered him a new contract. Harrison spent the last two seasons on loan at Everton, but now he's closing in on a move to Serie A's Fiorentina.
Radrizzani shared, "We’ve had several top-tier clubs interested in him for a long time. Newcastle were very close, but Tottenham, under Antonio Conte, also seriously considered him."
He added, "For us, it was difficult to sacrifice him because he’s always been a useful player, capable of playing on both flanks, always available, and almost never injured. His athleticism and physical condition are solid, and that’s a really positive trait."
